40th Anniversary Mini "Ghost" Making Workshop: Oct. 20th, 2024. 12pm

$0.00

Join us in creating replicas of Albert Szukalski's ghost-like sculptures!

Sunday, October 20th, 12pm at the Goldwell Open Air Museum Red Barn

1 Golden St. Beatty, NV 89003

(Red Barn is 1/2 mile southwest of the Visitor Center)

Free and open to all ages. Please RSVP.

Belgian artist Albert Szukalski's famous sculpture that is the foundation of Goldwell Open Air Museum, "The Last Supper" is the inspiration for this workshop. Not only did he create life-sized figures in the familiar composition, he also created other "ghost" sculptures, 2 of which also live at Goldwell and his other artworks are found around the world.

This same workshop was held at Goldwell's 20th Anniversary celebration led by Suzanne Hackett-Morgan, pictured in action. Images are pulled from the 20th Anniversary Documentary called "Shiney Things: Life after Albert Szukalski"

A big thank you to Blick Art Materials for supplies!!
